Elias received his first paid commission after his short story, ‘The horrors I have seen’, was selected from more than 750 submissions for A Writing Chance.

Elias is one of twelve applicants to be selected for the BFI Network’s Short Film Development Programme.

Elias’s first writing effort, a feature drama proposal, has been shortlisted for the SAFAR Arab Film Development Programme.
